Can we get real for a second? Planning a Disney trip can be… a lot. Especially if you’re a first-timer or it’s been a while since your last visit.
There’s this pressure, right? To make everything perfect. To see and do it all. To create those picture-perfect moments you see all over Instagram.
And let me tell you, I get it. I’ve been there. Heck, even as a Disney pro, I still feel that twinge of anxiety sometimes. Will I get all the reservations I want? What if it rains? What if the kids have a meltdown right in front of the castle? (And yes, that absolutely did happen.)
But here’s what I’ve learned: it’s okay. It’s okay if things don’t go exactly to plan. It’s okay if you don’t do everything. Because often, it’s the unplanned moments that become the best memories.
That’s why when I work with families, we focus on what matters most to them. There is an emphasis on having a flexible plan that leaves room for spontaneity and those unexpected magical moments.
So if you’re feeling that Disney anxiety creeping in, take a deep breath. Remember why you’re going in the first place – to have fun, to spend time with your loved ones, to escape the everyday for a little while.
The magic will happen. And I’m here to help make sure of it.
